KAZMinerals Reports 4.1% YoY Decline in Q1 Copper Production, Slightly Up from Q4 2024

According to SMM, Kazakh metal producer KAZMinerals stated in a declaration on Wednesday that the company's copper production in Q1 this year was 90,400 mt, a 4.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The company attributed the decline in Q1 copper production to a decrease in ore grade, but its Q1 copper production was still slightly higher than the 92,900 mt in Q4 2024.
