SMM NPI Market: China Stainless Steel Mill Buys High-Grade NPI from Indonesia

[SMM NPI Market Transaction Update] SMM reported on May 22 that according to market sources, a stainless steel mill in east China recently purchased high-grade NPI at a transaction price of 965 yuan/mtu (tax-inclusive, delivered to the mill, Ni≥11%), with the ore sourced from Indonesia. Another transaction was made at 970 yuan/mtu (tax-inclusive, delivered to the mill, Ni≥12%), also with ore sourced from Indonesia. The total transaction volume amounted to several thousand mt, with delivery scheduled for early June.
