[National High-Tech Zones Achieved Industrial Added Value of RMB 1.7 Trillion in Q1 This Year, Up 7.1% YoY] According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first quarter of this year, the industrial added value of enterprises above designated size in national high-tech zones reached RMB 1.7 trillion, up 7.1% YoY. It is understood that, as of now, there are 178 national high-tech zones across the country, covering 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. These zones have gathered 70% of the country's national manufacturing innovation centers and 80% of the national key laboratories, with original technologies and first-launch products such as prototypes of embodied general artificial intelligence systems and brain-computer interface intelligent interaction systems on chips continuously emerging.

[SMM Steel] On March 26, 2026, the Indian government approved $42 million in funding for three pilot projects to produce steel using green hydrogen.
