New Energy Co. Breaks Ground on Solid-State Battery Materials Project in Guangdong

On May 7, a certain New Energy Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new energy solid-state battery materials project at the Huizhou New Materials Industrial Park in Guangdong. It is reported that the company has been crossing over into the solid-state battery sector since 2021, deeply implementing the development concept of "new quality productive forces," leveraging its advantages in the cable industry to focus on the construction of a new-type energy system. The total investment in this new energy solid-state battery materials project exceeds 1.2 billion yuan, with a planned land area of over 79,000 square meters. The company stated that it has made significant progress in battery cells, electrolytes, separators, cathodes, and anodes, sufficiently demonstrating its determination to build a new-type energy industry.
