【SMM Analysis】Analysis of Weekly Price Trend for ESS DC-side Battery Cabin, 4.25-4.30

[SMM Analysis] This week, the prices of DC-side battery cabins remained stable. The average price of a 5MWh DC-side battery cabin was 0.43 yuan/Wh, while the average price of a 3.44/3.77MWh DC-side battery cabin was 0.438 yuan/Wh. Domestic ESS projects were generally producing according to demand, and the price fluctuations of DC-side battery cabins were relatively small.

This week, the price of DC-side battery cabins fluctuated relatively small. The average price of a 5 MWh DC-side battery cabin was 0.43 yuan/Wh, while the average price of a 3.44/3.77 MWh DC-side battery cabin was 0.438 yuan/Wh. The US tariffs on China have shown signs of easing, with potential tariff rollbacks, and the demand for ESS in the North American market is expected to recover. Before the June 1 period, domestic enterprises mainly executed according to established contracts, with stable shipments. The price of DC-side battery cabins has remained stable recently.

On April 26, the shortlisted candidates for the EPC general contracting project of the Shule 200 MW/800 MWh grid-forming ESS project were announced. The project is located on the west side of the Xinjiang Kashi Shule Sheneng Beixi 220 kV booster substation, 73 km southeast of Shule County, approximately 0.5 km from the Xinjiang Kashi Shule Sheneng Beixi 220 kV booster substation. The ESS power station has a capacity of 200 MW/800 MWh, accompanied by the construction of a 220 kV booster substation. The first shortlisted candidate offered a bid of 866,103,999.89 yuan, with a converted unit price of 1.083 yuan/Wh. The second shortlisted candidate offered a bid of 892,561,729.94 yuan, with a converted unit price of 1.116 yuan/Wh.
