Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 23, at the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025), Honda Motor ("Honda") announced a deep strategic partnership with Chinese autonomous driving technology firm Momenta to jointly develop mass-producible assisted driving solutions based on end-to-end large AI models. The collaboration aims to accelerate the scaled deployment of full-scenario assisted driving features in the Chinese market.

As long-standing player in China, Honda has made significant strides in aligning its offerings with the country's rapidly evolving automotive landscape. In response to the industry's shift toward electrification and intelligent mobility, Honda is ramping up its investment in technology and innovation, with a clear focus on delivering high-quality, China-specific solutions.

The assisted driving system co-developed by Honda and Momenta is designed to address a wide range of driving scenarios. It includes high-speed navigation assist, urban navigation assist, automated parking assist, and memory-based parking navigation assistproviding a comprehensive suite of features tailored to diverse user needs.

Momenta, the first company in the industry to release a production-ready flywheel large model, has pioneered an integrated approach that merges perception and planning into a unified end-to-end solution. Its training architecture uniquely combines "long-term memory + short-term memory, emulating the human brain's ability to balance intuitive reasoning with logical analysis. This innovation significantly reduces the training cost of large models while enabling robust performance across millions of long-tail driving situations. In highly complex or extreme road conditions, the system delivers enhanced safety and dramatically improves the reliability and stability of assisted driving functions.
