The partnership aims to accelerate the transition to zero-carbon industrial transport in Europe and jointly build a sustainable energy value chain.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 10, EVE Energy Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with KION Battery Systems GmbH ("KBS"), marking a significant step toward advancing the large-scale application of the 21700 cylindrical lithium batteries in European logistics vehicles. The partnership aims to accelerate the transition to zero-carbon industrial transport in Europe and jointly build a sustainable energy value chain.

KBS, a joint venture between KION Group—a global leader in industrial vehicles and supply chain solutions—and BMZ Group, a renowned battery system integrator, has long been recognized for delivering high-end lithium-ion battery systems tailored to the European industrial vehicle market. With German-grade safety standards and precision manufacturing, its products are known for their technological sophistication, safety, and adaptability across various operating environments, playing a key role in driving the electrification of logistics equipment across Europe and North America.

EVE Energy, an innovative full-scenario lithium battery platform company, provides a wide range of battery technologies and application solutions to global customers. Backed by 13 major production sites worldwide, the company has established a comprehensive R&D system that spans from materials innovation to system integration. Its 21700 cylindrical batteries are distinguished by high energy density, extended cycle life, and adaptability across temperature ranges, offering enhanced endurance and operational efficiency for logistics vehicles used in European ports, warehousing, and transportation.

Under the agreement, EVE Energy will supply KBS with 21700 cylindrical battery solutions tailored to the energy demands of Europe's logistics vehicle systems. The partnership not only strengthens EVE Energy's localized supply capacity in Europe but also introduces a mutual recognition mechanism for technical standards, paving the way for its products to access the region's premium industrial vehicle market.

Zhao Jian, General Manager of Cylindrical Battery Sales at EVE Energy, emphasized that the collaboration is a vital part of the company's CREATE carbon neutrality initiative. By delivering zero-emission power solutions to high-end logistics operations in Europe, the partnership will foster an industrial ecosystem covering R&D, smart manufacturing, and battery recycling, while promoting full life-cycle carbon footprint management of lithium batteries.
