Ronbay Technology Unveils Solid-State Battery Roadmap at China EV100 Forum 2025

At the China EV100 Forum 2025 held today, Congxi Li, Vice President of Ningbo Ronbay New Energy Technology and Dean of the Central Research Institute, revealed that Ronbay Technology's solid-state electrolyte business focuses on two technical routes: sulphide and halide. The first-generation solid-state battery cathode material product is in the mt-level verification stage and is expected to complete material finalization within the year. The second-generation product, which is in the early development stage, features ultra-high nickel ternary cathode material with a capacity of 240mAh/g. The third-generation product, based on lithium-rich manganese-based technology, is an ultra-high-capacity product with a capacity exceeding 300mAh/g. "In terms of sulphide solid-state electrolytes, we plan to complete pilot verification this year and establish a mass production line next year," said Congxi Li.

Sungrow Wins 7.5 Gwh Energy Storage Order in UAE
