SPCC-ILO Smelter Resumes Full Production, Despite Earlier Production Halt

According to foreign media reports, the SPCC-ILO smelter under Raul Jacob, CFO of Southern Copper in Mexico, had previously suspended production for "slightly more than a day" and has now resumed full production. The smelter stated that there are no issues with the supply of copper concentrates. Earlier market reports suggested that the smelter had planned to cancel a long-term contract for April shipments with downstream customers due to raw material issues.
