SMM Analysis: Supply and Demand Deadlock, Titanium Dioxide Market Remained Stable This Week. Currently, the quotation for sulphuric acid method rutile titanium dioxide is 14,200-15,000 yuan per mt, while the quotation for anatase titanium dioxide is 13,000-13,500 yuan per mt.

Currently, the price of rutile titanium dioxide produced by the sulphuric acid method is quoted at 14,200-15,000 yuan/mt, while the price of anatase titanium dioxide is quoted at 13,000-13,500 yuan/mt. As companies deliver existing orders, the market faced increased pressure to sign new orders this month. Meanwhile, there is still a portion of social inventory in the market that needs to be digested. Downstream customers and some dealers hold a pessimistic attitude towards the future market, and the sentiment is relatively low. However, due to the continuous rise in raw material costs for titanium dioxide plants and low inventory levels, companies generally have the intention to raise prices. Currently, the price of titanium dioxide is expected to remain stable, while the market policy remains unclear.
