【Hyundai Motor Group: U.S. Cumulative Sales Set to Break 30 Million】On March 24, the Hyundai Motor Group of South Korea announced that its cumulative vehicle sales in the United States will reach 30 million this year, continuing its steady growth in this key overseas market. Last year, Hyundai Motor sold 911,805 vehicles in the U.S., while Kia Motors sold 796,488 vehicles, setting a new record for the best annual sales performance in the U.S. Since entering the U.S. market in 1986, the two brands had cumulatively sold 29,303,995 vehicles in the U.S. by the end of February.

On April 10, Shenneng Beikong Company held a symposium and signing ceremony in Beijing for the winning bidders of the underground gas storage facility project for the Xi Ujimqin Banner grid-side compressed air energy storage project. The project is planned to have a construction scale of 3×350 MW/4,200 MWh, making it currently the leading single-unit compressed air ESS power station in China in terms of scale. The underground gas storage facility undertakes the core functions of high-pressure, large-capacity, and long-cycle safe operation, and is a key project that determines technical feasibility and economic viability.

Sichuan's First Integrated Storage-Computing ESS Power Station Kicks Off Construction

Recently, Sichuan Province's first integrated storage-computing composite ESS power station — Pengzhou Tuogang ESS Power Station — officially broke ground. The project adopts a hybrid technology route of "LFP electrochemical energy storage + 2.5 MW supercapacitor," with a total capacity of 100 MW/200 MWh. As a key demonstration project for grid-side new-type energy storage in Sichuan Province in 2025, it plans to achieve full-capacity grid connection and commissioning before the "peak summer" period in August this year.
