Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 25, BMW Group announced the launch of its 360-degree full-chain AI strategy in China. This initiative focuses on digitalized production and operations, enhancing intelligent user experiences across all scenarios, and fostering open innovation in research and development. The strategy aims to accelerate BMW's AI integration in China, shaping long-term competitiveness in the AI era.

In 2026, BMW's first China-produced Neue Klasse model will feature an AI-powered large language model and AI agents, enabling natural human-machine interaction, multi-agent collaboration, and open ecosystem integration. This Neue Klasse model, built on BMW's new-generation intelligent E/E architecture, offers a 20-fold increase in computing power, marking a new era of AI integration in intelligent cockpits.

For the first time, BMW will introduce AI-driven proactive interaction recommendation functions. Utilizing in-car sensors and cameras, the system will analyze data to provide customer services, such as reminding passengers if they leave personal belongings behind.

Following an open technology roadmap, these AI capabilities will be available across BMW's entire vehicle lineup, including both oil-fueled and new energy vehicle models, ensuring a unified intelligent experience.
