Shanghai (Gasgoo)- At its Spring Launch Event on March 13, XPENG unveiled an ambitious global expansion plan, with Chairman He Xiaopeng announcing the company's goal to enter 60 countries and regions by 2025.

As part of this roadmap, XPENG will enter the Malaysian market in March, followed by launches in Italy, Poland, and Qatar in May.

Just two days prior to the event, XPENG had already marked a significant milestone in its globalization strategy, confirming its successful entry into four major European markets—Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The company plans to begin selling its P7, G9, and G6 models in these regions starting in the second quarter of this year.

To accelerate its European market integration, XPENG has forged strategic partnerships with leading automotive distributors. Under official agency agreements, Inchcape will oversee vehicle imports and nationwide distribution in Poland, while Hedin Group will take full responsibility for XPENG's business operations in Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

XPENG has already established a presence in over ten European countries and regions, including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and the Netherlands, with its P7, G9, and G6 models progressively already launched in these markets. The company has also expanded into additional markets across the Middle East and Africa.

Looking ahead, XPENG plans to set up more than 300 overseas after-sales service centers this year. The company is also advancing its global energy ecosystem, with its ultra-fast charging network set to debut in Southeast Asia.

At the launch event, He Xiaopeng also highlighted the company's strategic investment in computing power. He revealed that XPENG will allocate "several billion RMB" to computing power development this year, emphasizing that the company prioritizes cost savings in other areas to enhance computing capabilities, ensuring its vehicles remain competitive over a decade-long usage cycle.

Regarding the 2025 G6 and G9 models hitting the market at the event, Mr. He noted that XPENG is taking a cautious approach to production capacity, with ramp-up expected to be completed by May or June this year.
