[Ningbo Zinc: Traders Stand Firm on Quotes, Premiums Continue to Rise] The transaction price of mainstream 0# zinc brands in the Ningbo market was around 23,530-23,700 yuan/mt. SMM reported on March 5: The transaction prices of mainstream 0# zinc brands in the Ningbo market were around 23,530-23,700 yuan/mt. Conventional brands in Ningbo quoted a premium of 35 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract and a premium of 30 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot prices, with mainstream quotes in Ningbo focused on the 2503 contract. During the first time period, Qilin quoted a premium of 30-40 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, Honglu-V quoted a premium of 40 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, and Baiyin quoted a premium of 30 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract. During the second time period, traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous period. Some traders in Ningbo completed shipments yesterday and did not provide quotes today, while other traders continued to stand firm on quotes. Spot premiums in Ningbo were raised today, but downstream manufacturers continued to purchase on a just-needed basis, with overall spot transactions showing little change from yesterday.
