[Mercedes-Benz Begins Road Testing of Prototype Vehicle Based on New Solid-State Battery Technology] The solid-state battery cells are provided by industry leader Factorial Energy, while the battery system is jointly developed by the Mercedes-Benz Battery Systems Technology Center and AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd. (HPP), achieving an energy density of 450Wh/kg, far exceeding the current market standard.
