Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese L4 autonomous driving company UISEE, in collaboration with Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), Qatar Airways Services, and the Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management, recently launched a pilot program for its autonomous airport vehicle solutions at Hamad International Airport. This marks the first such initiative in the Middle East, the company announced on Feb. 20.

The trial includes two autonomous products, an L4 self-driving bus and an L4 unmanned logistics tractor, both designed to meet the highest operational safety standards for airport tarmacs. These vehicles rely on a comprehensive sensor suite, including cameras, LiDAR, and GPS, paired with UISEE’s advanced fifth-generation U-Drive® intelligent driving system. Capable of 24/7 operation in various weather conditions, the vehicles feature automated charging, automatic uncoupling, and remote operation and monitoring, enhancing both safety and operational efficiency in airport logistics.

As one of China's leading L4 autonomous driving company, UISEE brings extensive commercial deployment experience in the aviation sector. Its successful projects at Hong Kong International, Urumqi, Guangzhou Baiyun, and Singapore Changi airports have set benchmarks for autonomous vehicle operations.
