JAC Group sees 35.59% MoM surge in Jan. 2025 auto sales

JAC Group announced its January 2025 sales report on February 10, revealing a total sales volume of 35,560 vehicles, which surged 35.59% month over month but dropped 9.39% year over year.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JAC Group announced its January 2025 sales report on February 10, revealing a total sales volume of 35,560 vehicles, which surged 35.59% month over month but dropped 9.39% year over year. 

Specifically, JAC Group's SUV sales grew by 8.8% year-on-year in the first month of 2025 to 6,452 units. Meanwhile, bus sales leapt 45.71% from the previous year to 561 units. In the new energy vehicle sector, the company's new energy passenger car sales increased 9.01% from the year-ago period to 1,113 units in January, while new energy commercial vehicle sales jumped by over 30%.  

In addition, JAC Group is set to hold a technical communication conference for the MAEXTRO S800 in the near future, unveiling more details about the model's advanced technologies. The MAEXTRO S800, developed in collaboration with Huawei, is positioned as an ultra-luxury new energy sedan.

In recent years, JAC Group has been accelerating its transformation towards electrification, connectivity, and intelligence by increasing investment in R&D. The company has successfully implemented V2X 3.0 across its vehicle lineup and achieved mass production of L2+ intelligent driving features.

JAC Group has also established strategic partnerships with leading firms such as Huawei, Horizon Robotics, iFlytek, Black Sesame Technologies, and CATL to advance its intelligent new energy vehicle development. The company currently exports to over 130 countries and regions, with significant overseas market growth.  

JAC Group's robust market performance is attributed to its consistent investment in technological innovation. In 2024, the company's R&D spending shot up 53.4% year on year.
