Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 22, Chery's JETOUR brand introduced a new luxury off-road product range, named JETOUR Zongheng (name in Chinese pinyin). Three models under the new range, the G700 and G900 rugged SUVs, and the F700 pickup truck, were unveiled at the launch event.

The new series features Chery's Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O and the Zongheng Amphibious Gold Range Extender CEM-O technologies, along with an all-terrain off-road chassis and six specialized off-road systems.

The Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O includes a 2.0TD hybrid-specific engine delivering a maximum power of 155kW and 340Nm of peak torque, with a thermal efficiency of 45.5%. Paired with a two-speed DHT hybrid transmission, it uses an 800V architecture, which allows fast charging from 20% to 80% of the battery capacity in just 10 minutes. Models equipped with this system will feature a quad-motor intelligent vector system, delivering a peak power of 1,200kW, said Chery.

On the other hand, the CEM-O range extender system matches the hybrid system's specifications but installed with 6C ultra-fast charging capability and dual-layer Qilin battery from CATL, enabling charging from 20% to 80% state of charge in only six minutes.

Additionally, the Zongheng series models will come equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system, supporting functions such as highway and urban navigation, autonomous parking, and drone-enabled off-road exploration.

The Zongheng series vehicles will also feature an amphibious mode, with military-grade turbine propulsion, a maximum water speed of 4.5 knots, and stable navigation for up to 40 minutes in water. The new series is designed with ship-grade rust-resistant components and an advanced stabilization system to ensure durability and safety in extreme conditions, both on land and water.
