Teck Resources Announces 2024 Actual Production Results, Highlights Include Zinc, Lead Output Increases Despite Smelter Disruption

[Teck Releases 2024 Actual Production] On January 21, Teck Resources announced its full-year actual production for 2024. The Red Dog mine produced 128,400 mt of zinc concentrates in Q4 2024, with an annual total of 555,600 mt (metal content), up 3% YoY. Lead concentrate production in Q4 was 25,300 mt, with an annual total of 109,100 mt, up 17% YoY. The Trail smelter produced 621,000 mt of refined zinc in Q4 2024, down 11% YoY, and 256,000 mt for the full year, down 4% YoY, primarily reflecting the reduction caused by a fire in the electrolytic cell house on September 24.
