[SMM Daily Review: Silver Prices Rose Slightly on January 8] The ex-factory reference average price of SMM #1 silver in the morning was 7,722 yuan/kg, an increase of 39 yuan/kg compared to yesterday, with a rise of 0.5%.

The price of silver continued to rise today. The opening price of spot silver was $29.955 per ounce. The SMM 1# silver ex-factory reference average price in the morning was 7,722 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 39 yuan per kilogram compared to yesterday, with a growth rate of 0.5%. According to SMM, major factories in the Shanghai area quoted prices between 2-4 yuan per kilogram today. Market transactions were average, with downstream buyers preferring spot cargoes with low premiums or discounts. Market transactions and sales urgency were not high.
