Metal Silicon Export Data Maintains Substantial Year-on-Year Growth in September 2024" Export: According to customs data, China's metal silicon exports in September 2024 amounted to 65,200 tonnes, marking a 1% increase month-on-month and a 27% surge year-on-year. From January to September 2024, cumulative metal silicon exports totaled 549,000 tonnes, up 28% year-on-year. Import: In September 2024, China imported 3,500 tonnes of metal silicon, a 31% decrease from the previous month. For the entire period from January to September 2024, cumulative imports amounted to 23,700 tonnes, representing a staggering 448% year-on-year increase.
