Copper Tube Imports Drop Monthly but Rise Yearly in August 2024, Exports Show Steady Growth

[SMM Analysis] According to customs data, in August 2024, the import of copper tubes amounted to 1,465.6 tons, a decrease of 16.2% month-on-month but an increase of 25.1% year-on-year. From January to August, the cumulative import of copper tubes reached 14,276.0 tons, a cumulative increase of 38.95% year-on-year. In August, the export of copper tubes was 32,177.7 tons, a decrease of 1.7% month-on-month but an increase of 24.2% year-on-year. From January to August, the cumulative export was 250,076.5 tons, a cumulative increase of 14.4% year-on-year...
