Li Auto scores 37.8% YoY leap in Aug. 2024 vehicle deliveries

Li Auto Inc. (Li Auto or the Company) announced it delivered 48,122 vehicles in August 2024, representing a 37.8% year-over-year jump.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Li Auto Inc. ("Li Auto" or the "Company") announced it delivered 48,122 vehicles in August 2024, representing a 37.8% year-over-year jump. This brought the company's total deliveries for the year to 288,103 vehicles. By the end of August 2024, Li Auto's cumulative deliveries amounted to 921,467 vehicles.

"The Li L6 has garnered significant popularity among young users, achieving over 20,000-unit deliveries for the third consecutive month, which has further expanded our market share," said Mr. Li Xiang, chairman and CEO of Li Auto. "In July, our share of the new energy vehicle (NEV) market priced at 200,000 yuan and above grew to 18%, surpassing Tesla to become the top-selling NEV brand in China in this segment."

Mr. Li highlighted ongoing enhancements to the company's product lineup through continuous over-the-air (OTA) updates, which have boosted customer satisfaction and driven the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to its highest level this year. He also pointed to the company's advancements in autonomous driving technology, with its full-stack proprietary architecture demonstrating robust capabilities during user testing. The penetration rate of city Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) mileage among test users has exceeded 50%.

As of August 31, 2024, Li Auto has operated 481 retail stores across 145 cities, along with 423 service centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops in 220 cities. The company has also managed 748 supercharging stations equipped with 3,506 charging stalls throughout China.
