Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Gotion High-Tech launched its latest-generation standard battery box product dedicated to hybrid heavy-duty trucks, according to a post the company issued via its WeChat account on Aug. 26. Notably, the innovative product is built on the G-CURRENT battery which was released at Gotion High-Tech's 13th Technology Conference in mid-May and is designed to meet the diverse needs of heavy trucks, loaders, mining trucks, buses, concrete mixers, excavators, and cranes.

The G-Current battery is designed with 5C super-fast charging technology, enabling 80% energy replenishment with 9.8 minutes of charging and 90% energy replenishment with 15 minutes of charging. This solution can be applied to the entire range of battery applications, BEVs (battery electric vehicles) or hybrid vehicle, covering LFP, LMFP, and NCM chemistry systems.

According to Gotion High-Tech, the newly launched standard battery box is engineered to perform exceptionally well in extreme weather conditions, expanding the operational scope of the logistics industry. It can ensure normal vehicle operation even in harsh temperatures as low as -35°C, showcasing high adaptability and reliability in various environmental conditions.

In terms of safety, the innovative battery box product achieves top-tier standards in waterproofing, fire resistance, and shock resistance. The high waterproofing capability meets underwater tests of 1 meter depth for 48 hours and conforms to the IP69K high-pressure water standard. Additionally, it has passed a 1,300°C high-temperature fire test, ensuring consistent and stable operation in complex and unpredictable outdoor environments. The product also boasts outstanding shock resistance, meeting the GB/T 31467.3 standard's double-duration vibration requirements, which is crucial for maintaining battery system stability under harsh driving conditions, thus providing a more reliable user experience.

To cater to the varying demands of short-haul and long-haul transportation, the new standard-box product offers multiple battery combinations, including 66kWh, 99kWh, and 132kWh options, with a driving range of approximately 1,100 to 1,300 kilometers. This effectively addresses range anxiety in long-distance transportation, offering more flexible and efficient solutions for the logistics industry. Committed to reducing operational costs in the logistics sector, the G-CURRENT battery development team promises an impressive system warranty of 8 years or 5,000 cycles, delivering an economical and efficient transportation solution for users.
