CalmCar partners with Guangzhou Public Transportation Group for green, smart mobility

Intelligent driving solution provider CalmCar signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Public Transportation Group.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 24, 2024, the city of Guangzhou hosted an expo focused on the digital and new energy transformation of public transportation, aiming to create a green and smart urban public transport system. Intelligent driving solution provider CalmCar was invited to participate and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Public Transportation Group.

The partnership aims to support the comprehensive development of public transportation in planning, construction, operation, maintenance, and safety, fostering a more favorable environment for its deep integration and sustainable development in the city.

CalmCar continues to invest in R&D and talent development in core technologies for autonomous driving buses, including vision perception, fusion, localization, planning, and control. Alongside its technical capabilities, CalmCar has extensive experience in mass production.

Beyond vehicle intelligence, CalmCar provides a cloud platform for monitoring and operating intelligent connected vehicles. This platform offers collaborative perception, decision-making, and control capabilities, while performing big data analysis on operational data and real-time monitoring of power supply, chassis, and control systems. In case of unexpected situations, the system can implement functions like slow parking or remote human intervention.

CalmCar offers comprehensive Level-4 integrated service products, covering intelligent bus access, V2X roadside infrastructure construction, real-time monitoring center setup, and remote virtual cockpit deployment. This ensures a safe and efficient autonomous driving experience for users.

CalmCar has received strategic investments from industry leaders such as ZF, SAIC Motor, BAIC Group, China Unicom, and SureKAM Corporation. Its core mass production customers include global automakers and suppliers like HOZON Auto, ZEEKR, Dongfeng Motor, VinFast, ZF, Autoliv, and Aptiv.
