Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 22, Chinese autonomous driving technology company iMotion announced it has secured a contract to supply autonomous driving domain controllers for a European luxury high-performance electric vehicle brand's global-oriented model. This brand currently operates in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific regions, iMotion disclosed.
This contract marks a significant milestone in iMotion's globalization efforts. The company established a subsidiary in Germany in 2023 to better expand its presence in overseas markets. Moreover, iMotion has obtained several certifications, including ISO 26262 for functional safety, ISO 21434 for automotive cybersecurity, and ASPICE CL2, ensuring compliance with EU safety standards.
To cater to local traffic environments and user habits, iMotion has developed localized intelligent driving algorithms for European traffic scenarios. These algorithms include perception and decision-making control systems capable of recognizing and responding to specific European traffic conditions, ensuring safe and efficient driving in accordance with local road and driving habits.
As the global automotive industry accelerates towards intelligent driving, iMotion not only supports Chinese manufacturers in entering overseas markets but also expands its international customer base, achieving a comprehensive global presence in intelligent driving technology.
