NIO delivers over 21,000 vehicles in June 2024

NIO delivered a total of 21,209 vehicles, marking a substantial 98.1% surge compared to the same period last year.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NIO, a main player in China's premium smart electric vehicle market, announced impressive growth figures for June 2024. The company delivered a total of 21,209 vehicles, marking a substantial 98.1% surge compared to the same period last year. This figure includes 11,581 premium smart electric SUVs and 9,628 premium smart electric sedans.

The second quarter of 2024 was particularly notable for NIO, with the company delivering 57,373 vehicles, a remarkable 143.9% soar year-over-year.

As of June 30, 2024, NIO's cumulative deliveries had reached 537,020 vehicles.

In June, NIO has undergone several major events in terms of its energy network and overseas business expansion. On June 13, NIO officially launched the first batch of its fourth-generation power swap stations, which will support multiple brands and car models for automatic battery swapping. Besides, on June 24, NIO and FAW Group's premium passenger car brand Hongqi jointly announced a collaboration to integrate their charging networks. This marks the first project following the strategic partnership forged between NIO and FAW Group, aimed at providing more convenient services for their users.

Regarding the presence in overseas markets, on June 13, NIO officially put its EL8 model (known as the ES8 in China) onto the markets of Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. This marks the sixth model NIO has introduced to the European market.
