BYD puts SEAL EV onto Japanese market

BYD recently launched its electric vehicle model, the SEAL, in the Japanese market. The SEAL comes in two variants, both equipped with an 82.56 kWh battery. The rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at 5.28 million yen (approximately 240,000 yuan) with a range of about 640 km, while the all-wheel-drive version costs 6.05 million yen (approximately 275,500 yuan) with a range of about 575 km. Local deliveries are expected to begin by the end of July and August, respectively.

GAC Toyota's Executive Vice President, Wen Dali, announced on Weibo that the company will hold its first technology launch conference on June 28, marking its 20th anniversary.

Changan Lumin EV adds two new variants, starting at 50,900 yuan
