Geely Unveils ShenDun Short Blade Battery, Equipped in Galaxy E5 with Ranges up to 530km

[Another Blade Battery Arrives] Geely's new generation of "blade" lithium iron phosphate battery will be officially released on June 27th, officially named ShenDun Short Blade Battery. The first model equipped with this battery is Galaxy E5. Geely Auto officials said that the ShenDun Short Blade Battery is self-developed and produced by Geely, belonging to the new generation of "blade" lithium iron phosphate batteries. Geely Galaxy E5 is equipped with two types of ShenDun Short Blade batteries with capacities of 49.52kWh and 60.22kWh, and the pure electric range is 440km and 530km (CLTC working conditions). It can achieve a minimum of 11.9kWh per 100 kilometers of electricity consumption, which is equivalent to a minimum cost of 6 cents per kilometer based on the cost of household charging piles.
