Sodium Battery Industry Project Kicks Off in Dazhou, China, with Total Investment of 11.5 Billion Yuan

[Sodium battery: On May 28th, the construction site promotion activity of the Sichuan Starry Sodium Ion Battery Industry Project, with a total investment of 11.5 billion yuan, was held in Maliu Town, Dazhou Eastern Economic Development Zone. Liaoning Starry Sodium Electric Battery Co., Ltd. is investing in the construction of the whole industry chain of sodium ion batteries, including positive and negative electrodes, battery cells, PACK integration, energy storage power stations, and smart grid management. The first phase of the investment is 2 billion yuan, planning to build a sodium battery positive electrode material production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons, a battery cell production line with an annual output of 1 GWh, a sodium battery PACK integrated manufacturing base and energy storage power station infrastructure construction, one 220KV substation, distribution lines, and smart grid management system.]
