SAIC Volkswagen Tiguan L Pro to hit market on May 30

On May 30, SAIC Volkswagen will put the Tiguan L Pro onto the market. As the third generation of the Tiguan series, this model has undergone significant intelligent upgrades through local collaborations, claiming to be the "most intelligent oil-fueled vehicle under 800,000 yuan."

Sichuan starts to build sodium-ion battery project

On May 28, Sichuan Xingkong sodium-ion battery industry project officially commenced construction in Dazhou. This ambitious project boasts a planned total investment of approximately 11.5 billion yuan and spans an area of about 660 mu. The project's first phase includes the construction of a production line with an annual output of 10,000 tonnes of sodium battery cathode material, a production line with an annual output of 1 GWh of battery cells, and a manufacturing base capable of producing 2 GWh of sodium battery packs annually.

smart celebrates production milestone of 100,000th vehicle

On May 29, smart announced its 100,000th vehicle rolled off the production line. The milestone comes 20 months after the first smart #1 was delivered in late September 2022. NIO’s ONVO brand to start delivering L60 model in September
