On May 14, 2024, in line with Guizhou Gui Aluminium New Materials’ safety production standardisation establishment arrangement, a team of five evaluators from the Qingzhen Emergency Management Bureau conducted an on-site assessment. Following a thorough review, Guizhou Gui Aluminium New Materials successfully passed the evaluation and acceptance process.
About the evaluation
This achievement makes Guizhou Gui Aluminium New Materials Co., LTD. the first enterprise in Qingzhen's aluminium rolling processing industry to accept safety production standardisation. The evaluation focused on the company's efforts to achieve three-level safety production standardisation.
The review team evaluated 13 aspects, including laws and regulations, safety systems, production equipment and facilities, and safe operation, through on-site inspections and data ledger reviews. The team leader reported the inspection findings and announced that the company had successfully passed the construction site evaluation for level-three safety production standardisation.
At the review meeting, Wu Fei, the leader of the review team, outlined the purpose, basis, scope, schedule, and organisation of the review work and specified the requirements for the review process. Zeng Hao, the company's Party branch secretary, chairman, and director of the Safety Committee, made commitments and detailed the company's arrangements and plans for cooperating with the expert review and inspection.
Guizhou Gui Aluminium’s early efforts in safety production praised
The head of the Emergency Management Bureau fully affirmed the company's early efforts in safety production standardisation and congratulated them on passing the on-site review. Additionally, the company was urged to use the safety production standardisation evaluation to identify and address problems and hidden dangers.
They should develop targeted measures at various levels—understanding, system, implementation, and technical—to continually improve in line with standard requirements. The company was encouraged to uphold production safety's red and bottom lines.
Tong Biao, the deputy general manager in charge of safety production, expressed gratitude to the superior emergency management department for their strong support and assistance and to the review team experts for their hard work. He outlined the company's next steps for implementing and continuously improving safety production:
- First, the company will enhance the study and understanding of standards, ensuring they are well understood, mastered, and effectively utilised while strengthening the professional safety production teams.
- Second, all departments will learn from each other and develop targeted rectification plans based on the expert group's feedback, completing the rectification process strictly within the timelines set by the review group.
- Third, the company will continue to enhance safety training and education management, raising the audit threshold for training and examination content to ensure employees effectively benefit from the education and training. This will improve safety awareness, operational skills, and the company's safety production management level.
