Beijing (Gasgoo)- Geely-associated DreamSmart Group recently unveiled its new executive team on its official website. Former Chairman and CEO of DreamSmart Group, Mr. Shen Ziyu, is notably absent from the new executive lineup.

Simultaneously, Mr. Shen's social media profiles have been updated to reflect his role as Chairman and CEO of Polestar Technology.

DreamSmart Group’s new executive team comprises CEO Ms. Su Jing, COO Mr. Liao Qinghong, CFO Mr. Qi Weimin, EVP and President of Smartphone BU Mr. Huang Zhipan, EVP and CTO Mr. Zhang Yadong, and EVP and Head of Strategic Planning Mr. Wang Yong.

Established in Wuhan on March 8, 2023, DreamSmart Group serves as a comprehensive platform for smart terminal technologies.

Before assuming the role of CEO at DreamSmart Group, Ms. Su Jing served as the co-founder and CFO, overseeing the group's investment, financing, and daily operations.

Records indicate that Mr. Shen Ziyu took on the roles of Chairman and CEO of DreamSmart Group in March 2023. Prior to this, Mr. Shen had been with Geely until September 2021 when he co-founded Xingji Shidai Technology Co., Ltd., alongside Geely's Chairman Li Shufu, among others, and served as Vice Chairman. In July 2022, Geely acquired a 79.09% stake in Chinese smartphone maker Meizu Technology, subsequently merging the two companies to form DreamSmart Group.

The leadership change at DreamSmart Group appears to have been anticipated, with reports suggesting that Ms. Su Jing and Mr. Shen Ziyu had been in a joint management position since November 2023. This adjustment allows Mr. Shen to focus more on the smart automotive-related endeavors.
