China's Passenger Car Sales Dip 2% in April to 1.585 Million Units, While New Energy Vehicle Sales Rise 34%

[CPCA: Preliminary statistics show that retail sales of passenger cars in April are 1.585 million units, down 2% year-on-year] On May 8th, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) said that according to preliminary statistics, retail sales of passenger cars in April are 1.585 million units, down 2% year-on-year and 6% month-on-month. So far this year, cumulative retail sales have reached 6.417 million units, up 9% year-on-year. Among them, retail sales of new energy vehicles are 706,000 units, up 34% year-on-year.
