【Japanese Company Develops 4-micron Ultra-thin Copper Foil, Expected to Improve Lithium Battery Endurance】Japanese electroplating processing company TEIKOKU ION has developed an ultra-thin copper foil with a thickness of 4 microns (μm). By plating copper on both sides of the resin film, the strength is increased and the thickness is reduced to half of the original. It is envisioned to be used as electrode material for lithium batteries, which can extend the driving range of battery electric vehicles (EVs). (CaiLian Press)
