As technology continues to advance and application scenarios expand, battery manufacturers' demand for high-pressure compacted positive electrode materials is growing stronger. Whether for energy storage systems or power batteries, high-pressure compaction technology has become an important threshold for material applications. High-pressure compaction not only means a significant improvement in material performance but is also key to achieving efficient, stable, and energy storage.

To this end, Changzhou Liyuan released its latest fourth-generation high-pressure compacted lithium iron phosphate S501 on April 18th, bringing a breakthrough to the new energy market with its outstanding compaction performance. S501 is an upgraded version of Liyuan 1. Through innovative technologies such as optimized element doping and special sintering processes, significant improvements in material compaction and charge-discharge capabilities have been achieved.

Its powder compaction density reaches 2.65 g/cm³, a leading position among similar products. This breakthrough not only enhances the product's energy density but also meets the diversified needs of different application scenarios. Whether for electric vehicles, energy storage power stations, or other new energy application fields, the fourth-generation high-pressure compacted S501 can provide powerful performance support and meet users' demands for highly efficient, stable, and safe products.

Calculation data from the Changzhou Liyuan Research Institute shows that with the powder compaction of S501 increased to 2.65 g/cm³, more electricity can be loaded in the same volume, providing stronger energy support for applications such as electric vehicles and energy storage power stations. Changzhou Liyuan has always adhered to the corporate mission of "using super LFP materials to achieve super lithium battery customers". Through continuous technological innovation and product upgrades, it is dedicated to providing customers with better, more efficient, and safer lithium battery material solutions.

The launch of S501 showcases Changzhou Liyuan's technological strength in the new energy field and injects new vitality into the development of the new energy industry. In the future, Liyuan will continue to focus on the new energy field, continuously launching more innovative and competitive products, and contributing more to the sustainable development of the new energy industry.

Guangdong's First Standalone ESS Project Linked to Offshore Wind Grid
On March 14, the Zhanjiang Xuwen 200 MW/400 MWh standalone shared ESS power station project, built by Energy China Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute under the integrated “research-industry-investment-construction-operation” model, was successfully connected to the grid, becoming Guangdong Province’s first standalone energy storage project connected to a large-scale offshore wind power grid connection point. The project adopts advanced grid-forming technology and a fully liquid-cooled cascaded LFP ESS, featuring millisecond-level rapid response, high safety, and a cycle life of more than 6,000 cycles, effectively enhancing the power grid’s capacity to accommodate and regulate fluctuating new energy sources such as offshore wind power. The project can simultaneously serve new energy consumption, power grid peak shaving and frequency regulation, and emergency power supply support, becoming a key carrier for the local development pattern of “wind and solar power + energy storage support + zero-carbon port industries.”
