These are steel plate imports by months and their changes: (352,900 mt, -1.70% MoM, -33.64% YoY) for February 2024; (711,900 mt, -31.07% YoY) for January-February 2024.

These are steel plate exports by months and their changes: (3.9633 million mt, -15.55% MoM, +0.29% YoY) for February 2024; (8.6563 million mt, +14.92% YoY) for January-February 2024. Exports of HRC, steel strip, coated plate (strips) and electrical steel plates (strips) increased to varying degrees on a YoY basis.

[SMM Daily HRC Trading] Spot Trading Changed Relatively Little

[SMM Daily HRC Trading] On March 27, the total daily HRC trading volume of sample enterprises in four cities tracked by SMM (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin, and Ningbo) was 14,490 mt, up 360 mt day on day, or 2.5%, with solar-calendar YoY growth of 28.57% and lunar-calendar YoY growth of 9.77%.
