Chilean Government Evaluating Bill for National Lithium Company with Strategic Council Oversight

Chilean Minister of Mining: Government is still evaluating the creation of a national lithium company bill. The Chilean Copper Commission will evaluate and manage investments of the national lithium company. The Ministry of Mining of Chile previously stated that the newly formed commission will be led by a "strategic council" composed of representatives from the Ministry of Mining, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Science and the Production Promotion Agency, to coordinate with local government agencies in managing the country's lithium mining and related cooperation projects.

EVE Energy Plans To Invest 6 Billion Yuan To Build 60GWh Energy Storage And Power Battery Project

On March 28, EVE Energy Co., Ltd. issued an announcement stating that the company plans to sign an investment cooperation agreement with the Management Committee of Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone to invest in and construct the "EVE Energy 60GWh Energy Storage (Power) Battery Manufacturing Project" in the Zhongkai High-tech Zone. The total investment for this project is approximately 6 billion yuan, covering an area of about 500 mu. It will be used to construct a production base for energy storage (power) batteries with a capacity of 60GWh. The implementation entity for this project will be EVE Energy or an affiliated company established by it within the zone.
