[Henan Transport Investment Group and CATL Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement]

On March 18, Henan Transport Investment Group Limited and CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly build a green transportation energy supply ecosystem and create a network of electric vehicle charging stations at highway service areas. They will promote the electrification process of various types of fuel machinery, vehicles, and equipment in highway construction and service area operation. They will also explore cooperation on solar projects at service areas and toll stations, and establish energy storage systems. Furthermore, they plan to build "integrated charging stations and battery swapping stations" at service areas and along key national and provincial highways, accelerate the application of electric heavy trucks, and establish a zero-carbon trunk transportation network.
