On March 20th, TKAS Auto Steel Company Ltd. (TAGAL) hosted a grand launch event for its "eNovation® and Technical Solutions" under the banner of "Go Green Go Forward" in Chongqing. The event saw an assembly of over 450 attentees, including representatives from more than 60 automobile OEMs and research institutions, alongside over 110 Tier 1 suppliers and service providers nationwide. Additionally, TAGAL’s shareholders, technical experts, the management team, and media representatives were in attendance to commemorate this major occasion.
During the event, TAGAL proudly introduced “eNovation® and Technical Solutions" (TAGAL eNovation®) along with four steel grades of "Low Carbon Emission Steel" (TAGAL greenS). TAGAL eNovation® is an integrated solution for new energy vehicle steel, showcasing TAGAL's latest products, technologies and services. This includes the digital car body platform (TCB), which offers a variety of complete engineering technology solutions and customer-centric service innovations. TAGAL greenS represents our commitment to a low carbon emission steel strategy, with its FHM production method achieving carbon reductions of 30% and over 60% per ton through two major process routes, respectively.
In an interview, Mr. Wei Kewei, General Manager of TAGAL, stated that TAGAL has embraced "Driving Smart Steel" as its development strategy. This includes focusing on "improving the company's comprehensive competitiveness" and "accelerating green transformation" as its strategic implementation priority. With robust backing from its parent companies, thyssenkrupp Steel Europe from Germany and Angang Steel from China, the TAGAL team has always been dedicated to pioneering intelligent innovations with a global perspective. The eNovation® and technical solutions launch will further propel the development of safer and lighter vehicle bodies.
