SMM cobalt and lithium morning meeting minutes: Lithium carbonate prices rise slightly at the beginning of the week. In the recent market, lithium salt companies continue to mainly sell in bulk, while scattered orders maintain a firm pricing status. However, low-priced goods from industrial carbon are gradually decreasing as a certain salt lake company has finished delivering goods. Although most downstream companies continue their strategy of just-in-time purchasing of low-priced lithium carbonate without a significant amount of stockpiling, the focus of their scattered order purchasing prices is gradually rising along with the scattered order selling prices of lithium salt companies, while their willingness to accept high-priced lithium carbonate remains low...

Recently, Xinjiang Blue Diamond Lithium Energy Technology Co., Ltd. published the first official public notice for the environmental impact assessment of its lithium salt production project. The project is located in Toksun County, Turpan City, Xinjiang, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. It will include a production line capable of producing 35,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate and 935 tons of anhydrous lithium chloride per year, along with supporting facilities such as a raw material preparation area, pyrometallurgical area, leaching and electrolysis area, and production area.
