Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 18, Founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, announced on Weibo that Xiaomi's inaugural "Human x Car x Home" ecosystem conference would take place on February 22 at 7 p.m.

This marks Xiaomi's first product launch event without Lei Jun, who has shifted his focus entirely to Xiaomi’s automotive business. Taking over as the keynote speaker will be Lu Weibing, recently appointed as Xiaomi's brand manager.

While the new product of the launch event is a smartphone, the emphasis on the "Human x Car x Home" ecosystem highlights the integral role of automobiles. In October last year, Xiaomi introduced the "Human x Car x Home" strategy, emphasizing personalized mobile computing (the "Human" aspect), smart mobility (the "Car"), and intelligent living spaces (the "Home").

Within this ecosystem, users can control and manage their homes, vehicles, and mobility aspects through smartphones or other smart devices. Xiaomi has already interconnected "Human" and "Home," allowing remote control of appliances like air conditioners and televisions. With the imminent launch of the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan, anticipation grows for how cars will integrate into this ecosystem and what intelligent experiences they will offer.

Although the spotlight may be on the new Xiaomi 14Ultra smartphone at the February 22 event, Lu Weibing hinted that future Xiaomi product launches will focus on delivering comprehensive smart experiences that integrate the "Human x Car x Home" scenario.

It's expected that the event will showcase more detailed car-infotainment interactions, indicating that Xiaomi's future product launches may consistently feature Xiaomi vehicles.
