Jaguar Land Rover’s China retail sales jump 25% YoY in 2023

Jaguar Land Rover China's annual retail sales reached an impressive 106,377 units, marking a substantial 25% growth compared to the previous year.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 8, Jaguar Land Rover China unveiled its sales performance for the year 2023. According to official data, its annual retail sales reached an impressive 106,377 units, marking a substantial 25% growth compared to the previous year. Notably, the Land Rover models, including the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport imported for domestic sales, as well as the Defender series, exhibited a particularly significant increase in sales for 2023.

Breaking down the sales figures by specific models, the combined deliveries of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in the Chinese market surpassed 25,000 units in 2023, representing a remarkable 31% year-on-year leap. The Land Rover Defender family witnessed a substantial 59% year-on-year spike in annual sales, with nearly 20,000 units delivered throughout the year. Additionally, Land Rover's Discovery model achieved a 14% year-on-year growth, with sales exceeding 17,000 units for the entire year.

The Jaguar brand accumulated sales exceeding 25,000 units in the Chinese market for 2023. The automaker underscored the notable contributions of the Jaguar XFL, F-PACE, and E-PACE models, but didn't reveal concrete sales figures.

In the recently concluded 2023, Jaguar Land Rover China consistently refreshed and expanded its product lineup, introducing over 10 new models, including annual updated versions of the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Discovery.
