On September 5, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the Action Plan for Steady Growth of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry in 2023-2024. The Action Plan proposes that from 2023 to 2024, the added value of the computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries will grow at an average rate of about 5%, and the operating income of enterprises above the designated size in the electronic information manufacturing industry will exceed 24 trillion yuan. In 2024, 5G mobile phone shipments in the Chinese mobile phone market will account for more than 85%, the market share of 75-inch and above color TVs will exceed 25%, and solar cell output will exceed 450 gigawatts. The supply capacity of high-end products will be further improved, and new growth points will continue to emerge. The industrial structure continues to be optimized, and the construction of industrial clusters continues to advance, forming a good situation of upstream and downstream collaboration and mutual promotion.
