The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a press conference on the steady growth of the raw material industry on August 25.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a press conference on the steady growth of the raw material industry on August 25. Chang Guowu, director of the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that iron and steel enterprises are encouraged to implement mergers and reorganizations. And for iron and steel enterprises that have completed substantial mergers and reorganizations, the Ministry will give greater policy support for capacity replacement.
