PBC: M2 growth is 10.7% in July, 0.6 and 1.3 percentage points lower than the end of last month and the same period of last year

At the end of July, the balance of broad money (M2) was 285.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.7%, the growth rate was 0.6 and 1.3 percentage points lower than the end of last month and the same period of last year. The balance of narrow money (M1) was 67.72 trillion yuan, up 2.3% year-on-year, 0.8 and 4.4 percentage points lower than the end of last month and the same period of last year, respectively. The balance of money in circulation (M0) was 10.61 trillion yuan, up 9.9% year on year. Net cash disbursement for the month was 71 billion yuan.
