SHANGHAI, Jul 6 (SMM) – Zambia is close to resolving a dispute with Vedanta Resources (VEDJB.UL) over its Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) and the future of some state-owned mines.
Both sides want to see a deal to mine production, according to Reuters.
KCM has struggled to attract investment since Zambia's relationship with Vedanta broke down a few years ago, culminating in state seizure of KCM assets and mandatory liquidation in May 2019.
