SHANGHAI, Jun 26 (SMM) – Tricobalt tetraoxide prices inched higher last week, albeit at a decelerating pace. The slight uptick in cobalt salt prices drove the cost of Co3O4. Downstream LCO factories, grappling with the dual challenges of procuring high-cost lithium carbonate and rising Co3O4 prices, worked to reduce costs. Some Co3O4 factories undertook outsorucing orders from other producers. Co3O4 prices are expected to continue to rise this week.
