The price of photovoltaic glass was adjusted last week. As of June 16, the SMM quotations of photovoltaic glass were as follows: 3.2 mm photovoltaic glass at 25.5-26.5 yuan/m2, 2.0 mm photovoltaic glass at 17.8-19.0 yuan/m2, and 2.0 mm photovoltaic glass prices fell slightly.

The price of photovoltaic glass was adjusted last week. As of June 16, the SMM quotations of photovoltaic glass were as follows: 3.2 mm photovoltaic glass at 25.5-26.5 yuan/m², 2.0 mm photovoltaic glass at 17.8-19.0 yuan/m², and 2.0 mm photovoltaic glass prices fell slightly.

SMM understands that most of the price cuts were undertaken by domestic second-tier companies and "new players" who reported higher inventories. Shipments from some second-tier companies declined sharply due to limited orders previously and stable demand from module plants in June. As a result, the price of photovoltaic glass was adjusted downward.

On the supply side, there have been no new production lines or closures for maintenance in domestic photovoltaic glass industry in June. The domestic supply is stable and there is no major change in output.

SMM believes that the price will remain stable in June. The demand for photovoltaic glass will rise slightly, and the probability of price reduction is low.
