The Caixin China General Service Industry Business Activity Index (Service Industry PMI) released today in May recorded 57.1, an increase of 0.7 point from April, which is the second highest since December 2020 and only lower than March 2023.
In May, the Caixin China Composite PMI rose by 2.0 point to 55.6, a new high since 2021, indicating that Chinese companies' production and operation activities are accelerating the expansion.
